The Exumas are part of the Out Islands of The Bahamas, which are renowned for their relaxed ambiance, clear waters and unspoiled beauty, and include 365 islands stretching over 120 miles. The main islands are Great Exuma (on which February Point is located) and Little Exuma. Their protected, central location in the Bahamas and variety of small cays makes them a favorite for cruising on a yacht or sailboat.

Flavored with authentic Caribbean charm, Georgetown is the capital of the Exuma Islands and is home to restaurants, shops, grocery stores, gas stations, banks and ATM machines, boat rentals, a medical clinic, diving and game-fishing outfitters and straw markets. There is very little traffic, no traffic lights and virtually no crime.
