BEACHES & BOATING

February Point stretches across an 80-acre peninsula off Great Exuma, overlooking the world-famous boating haven of Elizabeth Harbour and offering several pristine beaches. For boating enthusiasts, our full-service marina can accommodate up to 38 boats and is located in the calm, sheltered waters off February Point. Residents and visitors benefit by having a safe and secure place to dock their boats for short or long term. FISHING

GOLF

February Point residents and visitors have access to the exclusive Greg Norman-designed Golf Club at Emerald Bay. Just 20 minutes north of our community, the championship 18-hole course boasts dramatic fairways winding through seaside dunes and six signature holes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Once you have teed off on this course, it will be obvious why it's considered one of the world's preeminent ocean-side golf courses.

TENNIS

Enjoy a refreshing morning or afternoon set of tennis at the spectacular February Point Tennis Club. We have two Laycold cushion-surfaced courts with net and lines to U.S.T.A specifications. The courts are well lit for evening play as well. Spectators can sit and relax in our Tennis Club lounge with a refreshing drink and cheer friends and family on from the sidelines. Memberships are available for daily, monthly or annual use.

SCUBA DIVING

Scuba diving doesn't get any better than off the shores of Great Exuma. From easy dives on shallow reefs of 15 to 50 feet, to walls plummeting thousands of feet deep, to sunken wrecks encrusted with a vast array of corals, sponges, urchins and other invertebrates, our dive professionals specialize in small group escorted trips. They also offer snorkel excursions, private charters and a PADI dive centre.

PRIVATE PILOTS

DINING

Dining at February Point is one of the high points of the day, where residents, guests and others from the Great Exuma community come together to enjoy the superb island cuisine prepared by Chef Rohema Forbes at the oceanfront Bamboo Bistro. They also come to join in lively conversations for a memorable unpretentious evening of great food, friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Specialties here include lobster bisque, rack of lamb, tuna steak, curried lobster and fresh catch of the day.

REGATTA

Imagine a tranquil expanse of blue ocean water speckled with schooners and sloops, their sails pregnant with a gentle sea breeze. Sails are billowing proudly as each vessel pushes toward the finish line and the coveted title of "Best of The Bahamas." The Bahamas Regatta, or The National Family Island Regatta as it is now known, is an island tradition established in the early 1950s. Held every third week in April, it continues to be an exhilarating spectacle held annually in Elizabeth Harbour, just off the shores of February Point. Much more than a race, locals and tourists alike sway to the sultry sounds of calypso, reggae and junkanoo and take in trendy fashion shows, participate in volleyball tournaments and indulge in delectable Bahamian cuisine.
